Lowcountry Raptors-Our Mission

Picture
Through public education, Lowcountry Raptor, a 501(c)(3), fosters a connection between people and birds of prey. Our goal is to help the human part of the natural community learn to value, understand, and honor the role of wildlife while preserving the natural and cultural heritage of the Lowcountry.

"This we know: the earth does not belong to us; we belong to the earth. All things are connected like blood which unites one family. Whatever befalls the earth befalls the children of the earth. Humanity does not weave the web of life; we are merely strands in it. Whatever we do to the web, we do to ourselves."

Ruffin' It Farm Sanctuary-Our Mission

Picture
Ruffin' It Farm Sanctuary is driven by the simple philosophy that kindness and respect to animals is our duty and that all the creatures that share this earth are here with us and not for us. Like our faithful dogs and lap-sitting cats, farm animals are feeling individuals who deserve to be treated with compassion and to live free of fear and suffering.
